Finally I managed to get some photos. It was a house warming cum Father’s Day celebration. Not much photos as me and dophin were so busy that we did not have time to take many. Anyway, enjoy the photos!
Don’t worry!!! The title is not about me. Anyway, had been trying to get the photos taken during my house warming and post it on my blog. Somehow, I just can’t manage to get it. I will blog on this later then.
Back to the title… Yup. This cropped up recently. It happened to my friend recently and me and dolphin had a talk on this.
Which is worse?
Yes. HE betrayed. However, they got back together as SHE thought SHE could forgive and forget. Of course, HE gave all the promise and assurance that it would never happen again.
In the end, it was SHE who could not forget the betrayal and kept bearing a grudge on HIM. It was so bad that in the end they broke up.
My take on this:- One could never really forget such betrayal. If you really think that I can’t forget, then better not get back together. It will only be prolonging the hurt ad suffering. Well, that’s my view…
OK. After one and half years, they are back!!! Yes! It was in December 2005 that I brought my then girlfriend (now wife) to her first ever Mayday concert at Max Pavilion. I remembered I was the one who got very high that night and was trying so hard to get Dolphin into the mood. Guess what?? She did not really got into the partying mood…. but…. for the following one and half years, she stocked up all the Mayday’s albums and from then on, I was only allowed to listen to Mayday’s album while driving her car. It was all my fault!!!! I brought the Mayday craze onto her and the agony upon myself… Damn!!!
This time round, we were back at Max Pavilion. We bought the most expensive tickets just to satisfy her cravings for Ah Shin!!!! But, my attention was on the two guitarists and bassist. Their selection of songs that night were the less well known ones, but still, it was solid performance all round.

Here comes the irony. The two of us sort of switched moods that night. Dolphin got so high that she kept jumping and waving her cylume stick while I was just standing there and listening to them singing. What happened? Mayday’s performance was excellent. But I was just not able to get bring out my emotion.
I came to a conclusion after much thought. Here’s how I see it:- I watched Wu Bai and China Black, Beyond, Kit Chan and Mayday concerts. Mayday is the only group that I went back for a second concert. I guess the anticipation was just not there anymore. The morale of the story… No need to watch the concert of an artist or group more than once. I will lose the ‘feeling’ and excitement. Save $$$!!! Hahaha!!!
Sorry dear, I guess I would not be going to my 3rd Mayday’s concert, if they ever come back. Tsk!!!
Alright!!! I have reached my 2nd milestone!!! The completion of the renovation for our house. We received all but one of our furniture. The sofa and coffee table came first, followed by the dining chairs, our K-size bed and finally the bedframe in the guestroom. Woah!!!! Here’s some pictures…
Just the dining table’s missing…. Two more weeks to go… Sigh…. And we wanted it to come so badly as we thought that the dining table would become the centre piece of our whole house. Its just so gorgeous looking!!!
I loved the roman blinds in our bedroom and the colour combination of our entire living room. Yeah!!!! We stayed there over the weekend and enjoyed the space that the house provided and the company of us both. It was a very nice feeling. It would be our weekend get away until our customary wedding. Yes!!! Dolphin cooked chicken curry for lunch and dinner and it was real tasty!!! I would be trying spaghetti this weekend. Hope it’s going to turn out good. Hahaha!!! A big test of our culinary skills.
Oh!!! It’s the GSS again and guess where we did our shopping on Saturday??!! We went to Bukit Panjang Plaza’s NTUC 3 times in a day!!!! That’s a record!!! More to come!!!

On the average,its going to be a 7.5% to 35% pay rise for them!!! And with an additional 20% on their increment for armed forces and police. Oooooooo!!!
As if my thumb which has been sore for the past two months is not enough, my back pain is making a come back again. I have been taking medicine from Eu Yan San and it was actually getting better. However, when I woke up this morning, the usual morning dull pain and the cracking sound of my spine was back when I tried to get off my bed. Damn!!! And I thought I was getting better. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do with it? The chinese doctor said my ligament was injured and I need to avoid strenuous exercise for awhile. But, I feel so uncomfortable if I don’t jog at all. How? Help me.
Oh yes. The injury prone weekend. Yes!!! I was damn unlucky over the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, I was mopping the floor of my new flat and guess what? I was scratched on my right leg by my own platform bed. Its very difficult for the wound to dry up as I have to wear socks and shoes to work everyday. I keep airing my feet in office and I walk around showing my feet to all my colleagues. I don’t care man!!!
Then on Sunday, I was walking to a coffee shop for lunch. I passed by a pasar malam store and suddenly I felt a sharp pain on my left sole. I looked down and DAMN!!!! A satay stick was piercing into my left sole. I lifted up my left leg and stared at the stick that was still poked into my sole. I wondered "How the hell can that happen?" I blurted out a "F*****G C***B**" and finally pulled out the satay stick. Luckily it was not as deep as I was worried. But it was really painful. I was damn pissed!!!
Sigh… As if my sore thumb and backache is not enough in creating havoc to my worn out body from all these years of torture… Pity me…

Anne: Good morning!!!
Me and dolphin: Hello!!!
Anne started work on Dolphin.
Anne: 男人！你可以去睡觉了。等一下轮到你。
Me: Orh!!! 1 and a half hour later….
Anne: 女人！你很像Andrea De Cruz leh!!! 男人！hor??!!
Me: Yah!!! 眼睛以上很像。
Dolphin: 我不喜欢她！！！
Anne: 男人！到你了！And Anne started work on my face.
Me: 我活了二十八年第一次修眉毛和画妆。
Anne: 女人！你老公很像香港的林文龙！
Me: 我是帅哥!
Anne: 女人！你老公讲他很帅!
Dolphin: 不要管他！！！
At 12pm, Donn arrived.
Donn: 好了没有？！开工了！OK，我们今天会很好玩。先从casual开始。你们两个座下来。来！Michelle!踢你老公！开心多多！！
Dolphin: Yeah!!
Donn: Michelle! 你扎眼！没礼貌！再来！

Second destination: Somewhere along Alexandra Road, a small road led us up to a hilltop with BEAUTIFUL grass slopes and colonial houses.
Donn: Ah Seng! Siam !!! 给你老婆solo. 5 minutes later…
Donn: Ah Seng! 不对！你错边了！你变成比她矮！
Me: (To Dolphin) 他妈的。。。整天讲我矮，叫我siam!!! OK lah!!! 我本来就不是很高咯。
Dolphin: 不要吵啊！
Donn: 又扎眼！！！没礼貌！再来一次！！
Third destination: Sentosa Palawan Beach. We hitch a ride on the tram to Palawan Beach, donning my jacket and Dolphin with her gown. We attracted quite a lot of attention， 哈哈！！
Donn: Ah Seng,你抱起老婆的大腿，扶住她的腰。老婆ga ga 躺下去。Ah Seng, 你然后给她一个kiss!!!
Dolphin: 我怕！
Me: 你敢敢躺。我会扶住你。

We ended the day at the bridge at Palawan Beach. The whole process was really fun and Dolphin and I enjoyed it very much. We did not realized how tired we were until we sat down at Swensen’s, had a quick dinner and went straight home. It was indeed a memorable day for both of us. We should be able to see the photos next week. In the meantime, let me get hold of the candid shots we took with our own camera (its with Dolphin!!!) and I would post some teasers in my next blog. See yah!!!

Our wedding photo shoot. Its going to be a long day for us. But it’s definitely going to be an exciting one. I can’t imagine myself turning into a vain pot for once in my life time, though its a bit of a last ditch effort. Haha!!! Dolphin and I went to Vivocity on Saturday (finally!!! Phew!!!) to look for a perfect shirt, tie and belt for the shoot. Being a bride is good. Because their costume is being made for them. No worries about what to wear for the shoot. Sigh… Poor me…
Anyway, I am amazed at my willingness to spend that day. Also, I search high and low in Guardian and Watson this afternoon to find something that would cure the dark circles and puffiness around my eyes in 3 days. Yes!!! Cross my fingers that it will. At least I hope the puffiness would go down. Please, please, please….

This day would mark the end of the renovation of our home sweet home. 5 months!!! That’s how long it had took the contractor to finish up our house. Incredible isn’t it??!! Well, all that aside, I am looking forward to this day when all our furniture would be delivered and I would be happily dishing out all the cheques to the delivery guys. Dear, how much more we need ah?

Hopefully we can find a suitable time to have a In-Laws get together to "negotiate" on the dowry and all.

This day would be the day I join a new department in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Well, whether its good or bad, no one would know. But, I hope that this new job would develop me better in terms of professional skills. It’s going to be tough, I hope I could persevere.

This would be the day when Dolphin and I would be holding our customary wedding. Sisters many many also no scared! My many many brothers would "cross obstacles and slay generals" and "pour hot soup and flip fire pot" to help me get my wife man!!! Hahaha!!!

I was exchanging comments with my deary on some of my fellow colleagues who were getting promoted this June. Well, it was the usual comments like why such a person can get a promotion lah, why this person work so hard but was never promoted etc. And, she came to this conclusion:
Those who were stupid and got promoted mean they are not stupid!
Those smart people who never got promoted mean they are stupid!
How true!!!
